Sugilite Gemstone: Sugilite is a rare mineral and a gemstone best known for its vibrant pink to shades of amethyst and grape jelly purple colors. It was first discovered in Japan. It is primarily mined in South Africa, however, other deposits have been found in India, Australia, Tajikistan, Italy and Quebec, Canada.
